We Are First to Greet Visitors to Southern Vancouver Island!
The Saanich Peninsula is the gateway to southern Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands. Thousands upon thousands of visitors arrive off BC and Washington State Ferries every year. And, they arrive with lots of questions – they want information about where to eat, where to stay, and local attractions and activities.
The Saanich Peninsula Chamber of Commerce operates two Tourism BC-approved Visitor Centres, to accommodate visitors’ needs. One VC is located on the Pat Bay Highway, 2 Km from the Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal. The other VC is at Ocean Avenue in Sidney, across from the Sidney Ferry Terminal, where the Washington State Ferry docks.
Our Visitor Centres are the first stop for Vancouver Island visitors arriving from Tsawwassen, BC, and from Anacortes and the San Juan Islands, Washington. Our trained tourism counsellors are first to welcome visitors arriving in our region.
We offer several ways in which your business can be first to reach these visitors. Check out these options, then call us to find out more.
